How do I pay for my Fikishwa rides?

Fikishwa supports both cash and M-Pesa mobile money payments. Fares are displayed transparently before booking, and you pay directly to the driver at the end of the trip or through the in-app M-Pesa payment prompt.

What documents are required to register as a driver?

To become an approved Fikishwa Rider, you must upload a copy of your National ID/Passport, a valid Driver's License, Vehicle Insurance cover, inspection certificate, and vehicle registration book/sale agreement.

How does Fikishwa track driver commissions?

The Fikishwa Rider app tracks commissions owed to the platform automatically based on completed cash trips. Drivers are allowed a credit limit of up to KES 400. Once this limit is reached, drivers must settle their balance via the in-app M-Pesa checkout to go online again.

Is my personal data secure with Fikishwa?

Yes, Fikishwa utilizes advanced security encryption standards to safeguard all customer and driver data. We only share essential details (such as names and navigation coordinates) necessary to complete bookings, and we do not sell data to third-party advertising companies.
